Since 1993, COMPAGNIA DEL TABACCO has opened up a new line of business by creating new synergies between seemingly disparate areas. From the mid-1990s to 2015, COMPAGNIA DEL TABACCO was one of the first players in the household world to grant licenses to collaborate with designer labels.
The first licensing came about through an encounter with the universe of Piero and Barnaba FORNASETTI. With a home collection in decorated PMMA based on the patterns of the Milanese art brand's extensive catalog.
In 1998 it was the turn of the American designer Ken SCOTT, and before that production was commissioned for the brands GUCCI, GIORGIO ARMANI, FERRAGAMO, CAVALLI, ETRO, PRATESI and 1a Classe by Alviero Martini, among others.
